New Danish Consulate Inaugurated at HETCH in Helsingborg

Recently, a Danish consulate was inaugurated in Helsingborg, located at HETCH, in the heart of the city’s innovation district. This significant event was marked by a seminar themed “To be or not to be” – focusing on how to best prepare for the future.

Naturally, the program began with Hamlet, directly from the HamletScenen at Kronborg Castle. About 120 guests from the region’s business community, academia, and municipalities attended and were invited to listen to discussions on pressing geopolitical challenges presented by Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard, Denmark’s ambassador to Sweden, and Hans Wallmark, Sweden’s ambassador to Denmark.

An insightful panel discussion followed, addressing the region’s most important future issues. The panel featured Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs; Max Granström, CEO of Visit SkÃ¥ne; Charlotta Johnsson, Rector of Campus Helsingborg/Lund University; and Zeynep Erdal, Head of Helsingborg Innovation District. The mayor of Helsingborg, Christian Orsing, officiated a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was moderated by Tine Hylleberg and Michelle Andersson.
