Helsingborg Safety Hub moves in

Recently, Lund University established a Safety Research Hub in Helsingborg, focusing on research and education within the safety field.

Enrico Ronchi, a researcher at the Division of Fire Safety Engineering at LTH – Faculty of Engineering, leads the research group, which is now relocating its equipment for safety research to Helsingborg. Together with colleagues from the Faculty of Medicine and the Transport and Roads Division, the goal is to set up a lab for state-of-the-art research in the broad safety domain, including fire safety, traffic safety, and GIS-based health and safety studies.

The Helsingborg Safety Hub includes an agreement to share equipment between the partners, such as a VR setup and a driving simulator.
