Join us for the opening of Helsingborg Tech Week 2026

On 19 October, Helsingborg Innovation District invites you to kick off a week where bold ideas meet real-world execution.

Over a standing lunch at Lund University, Campus Helsingborg, we will officially open Helsingborg Tech Week together with representatives of the four initiators behind Helsingborg Innovation District:

Erik Renström, Vice-Chancellor of Lund University
Anna Jähnke, Chair of the Regional Development Board, Region Skåne
Carina Leffler, City Chief Executive, City of Helsingborg
Johan Eklund, CEO of the Southern Sweden Chamber of Commerce

Together, they will open the week and share perspectives on why collaboration across academia, the public sector and business matters for Helsingborg’s ability to turn ideas into action – and scale what works.

Meet the hubs, connect with the Helsingborg Innovation District community and get a first glimpse of the opportunities, ideas and events waiting throughout the week.

Our future won’t build itself. Come meet the people helping to build it.

The lunch is free of charge, but places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis

Stay for Nobel Prize laureate Anne L’Huillier

Stay on afterwards: at 12:15, Nobel Prize laureate Anne L’Huillier gives her lecture The The World of Atoms at the Attosecond Time Scale. The lecture requires a separate registration. Sign up here.
