Real challenges create real connections – Mindlabs attracted international talents to Mindpark

At the end of last week, Mindpark buzzed with creativity and collaboration during two intensive days of innovation. The second edition of Mindlabs gathered around 40 international talents representing a wide range of skills and backgrounds. Participating companies presented real business challenges, and the teams had two days to develop and pitch their proposed solutions — supported by workshops, mentoring, and guidance from company representatives.

From fast cars to AI and regional growth

The challenges brought forward by the companies included:

  • Tvättservice: We’re expanding into Denmark. How can we attract more customers using our transport vehicles?
  • Deep Studios: Help us design an event that increases business leaders’ understanding of the power of long-term brand building.
  • Tekkli: How can we use AI to create a solution that sorts data and improves the end-user experience?

The outcome? A mix of creativity and insight — from a treasure hunt in Helsingør and branded truck rooftops to how cinnamon buns can help drivers save energy.

A place where collaboration fuels innovation

The true purpose of Mindlabs is not to produce finished business concepts, but to plant the seeds for future innovation and meaningful partnerships.
Participants had the chance to demonstrate their skills and work directly with companies, creating a space for new ideas, collaborations, and opportunities, a situation where everyone benefits.

This approach aligns with the mission of Helsingborg Innovation District (HID), to strengthen collaboration between business, academia, and the public sector, while creating an environment where international talent can connect, contribute, and thrive.

Mindlabs is one of the many examples of how the HID ecosystem through its hubs like Mindpark, HETCH, Recolab, and Lund University Campus Helsingborg — fosters cross-sector innovation and community building in practice.

Next stop: Malmö, November 20–21

In November, Mindlabs moves to Malmö, where new companies and ambitious talents will once again come together to solve real challenges with real impact.
