E-commerce Park of Sweden, the country’s leading hub for e-commerce development, is taking the next step in its evolution relocating to Mindpark. The move marks a strategic shift from co-working towards incubation and entrepreneurship development, strengthening Helsingborg’s role as a powerhouse for innovation in digital commerce. By establishing itself in Mindpark, E-commerce Park becomes part of the Helsingborg Innovation District.
– This is a natural next step for us. By moving into Mindpark, we want to create even stronger connections between startups and established companies, and continue advancing e-commerce as an innovative industry, says Felicia Johansson, E-commerce Park of Sweden.
Strengthening Helsingborg as a Nordic E-commerce hub
Helsingborg has long been recognized as one of Sweden’s strongest e-commerce cities, with reports indicating that up to half of Sweden’s e-commerce turnover has ties to the region. E-commerce Park’s integration into HID further reinforces the city’s position as a national and Nordic hub for digital trade and innovation.
– Mindpark is a place where companies grow and collaborate. Welcoming E-commerce Park’s incubator here is incredibly exciting — it will strengthen the entire innovation cluster, says Helene Tigerström, COO at Mindpark.
An Innovation Ecosystem for the Future of Retail
The Future Retail Incubator program, run by E-commerce Park, has supported numerous e-commerce startups on their journey to international success. Through the move to Mindpark — and its new role within the Helsingborg Innovation District — the program will gain closer access to HID’s cross-sector ecosystem, where tech companies, researchers, entrepreneurs, and established organizations meet to co-create solutions for the future.
The relocation also brings E-commerce Park physically closer to Lund University Campus Helsingborg and its research cluster REAL, which focuses on retail and logistics innovation. Together, they create a stronger bridge between research, entrepreneurship, and industry.
– This move connects our innovation environments even more clearly and strengthens Helsingborg’s position as a leading hub for the future of e-commerce, says Zeynep Erdal, Head of Helsingborg Innovation District.
A Shared Vision for Growth
Each hub contributes unique strengths that together make HID a glocal innovation platform, connecting local excellence with global impact.
The arrival of E-commerce Park as the sixth hub, joining Hetch, Mindpark, Recolab, Parken – Center for Innovation, and Lund University Campus Helsingborg, represents more than a physical expansion. It embodies HID’s vision of building a dynamic, cross-sector environment where innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability drive long-term growth.
– E-commerce Park’s focus on entrepreneurial growth perfectly complements our mission to make Helsingborg a globally recognized district for innovation and sustainable development, adds Zeynep Erdal.
