An informative talk for foreign-born medical professionals wanting to practise in Sweden!
This talk by the International Office, Region Skåne, will inform you about the assistance they offer to medical professionals seeking to access the Swedish labour market and have their qualifications certified in Sweden. The processes for EU and non-EU citizens are quite different: it’s relatively easy to get a medical license if you’re from the EU and have attained the relevant level of Swedish, but for non-EU citizens, different tests are required.
The International Office makes the process smoother by offering different courses to help medical professionals pass the theory and practical courses, including language cafes focusing on medical vocabulary and a language internship shadowing a medical worker to observe how they communicate with patients.
Refreshments are available to purchase from the Mindpark cafe.
