Girls in Tech at Science Center with Koenigsegg

How does the technology behind some of the world’s most extreme cars work?

Welcome to a free afternoon at the Science Centre Helsingborg with Koenigsegg – for anyone in 8th grade or older (up to 25) who’s curious about technology, whoever you are.

During the afternoon, you’ll meet representatives from Koenigsegg and get an up-close look at the technology behind their cars. Koenigsegg is known worldwide for innovation, engineering and an almost uncompromising pursuit of perfection.

Now you’ll have the chance to explore and experiment for yourself.

How does a gearbox work? How do you actually steer a car? And how do you think when the aim is to do something a little better than anyone has done it before?

You don’t need to know anything about cars or technology beforehand. All you need is a curiosity about how things work.

During the afternoon, you’ll get to:

• meet people from Koenigsegg and hear about their work
• investigate and experiment with steering and gearboxes
• try out technology hands-on
• take part in a competition with the chance to win a LEGO Koenigsegg and Koenigsegg merchandise

Girls in Tech is for everyone. Because we need more girls in technology – and everyone needs to get involved to make a difference.
