This year, we thought we’d change up HIC Coffee Mornings by visiting different locations and hearing from the proprietors about their business. You’ll get a snapshot into their passion for sustainability, local produce, entrepreneurship, and local history, institutions, traditions, and more!
We kick off with a coffee morning at Cafe Ray, a brand new location that acts as a micro-cinema and cultural hub. Hussain Currimbhoy, film director, producer, and organiser of the Gåsebäck Film Festival, will tell us what inspired him to open the cafe, about upcoming activities, and his hopes for the venue to become a meeting-place for different communities.
Of course, the focus will still be on meeting new and old friends, enjoying good conversation, and finding ways to integrate into the local community.
