Handelsföreningen and Lund University, Campus Helsingborg invite you to the presentation of this year’s Excellence Scholarships, which recognise researchers at the Centre for Retail and Logistics (REAL) for scientific publications of particularly high quality in 2025. This year, the Helsingborg Trade Association is awarding 15 scholarships to researchers whose work has contributed important new knowledge in the fields of retail and logistics.

Lena Eskilsson, Vice-Chancellor of Lund University, will open the programme. During the ceremony, research based on the following articles will also be presented:
• A strategic perspective on automated warehouse systems in retail: insights from a multiple case study, by Joakim Kembro and Andreas Norrman
• Digital platforms for circular shopping: slowing down and speeding up second-hand clothing consumption, by Frida Eggert and Christian Fuentes
• Navigating the business model design space: A case of insects as food and feed in Sweden, by Chattraporn Chatthong
• Sustainable urban freight transition governance in small and medium-sized cities, by Mikael Kervall and Henrik Pålsson
Following the ceremony and presentations, we will conclude with a group lunch.
