Starting a business in a new country can be both exciting and challenging. Understanding the local business landscape, accessing the right support networks, and finding opportunities to connect with other entrepreneurs are often crucial first steps on the entrepreneurial journey.
To help bridge these gaps, Helsingborg Innovation District (HID) and Helsingborg International Connections launched Entrepreneurship Evening—a new recurring event designed to connect aspiring entrepreneurs, international talent, and business support organisations in Helsingborg.
The first edition took place at Parken and brought together an engaged and diverse audience for an evening focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration.
Participants gained valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey—from transforming early-stage ideas into viable businesses, to navigating incubator and accelerator programmes, accessing professional advisory services, and exploring funding opportunities.
Helsingborg has long been a city shaped by commerce, innovation, and international exchange. Thanks to its strategic location in the Öresund region, the city continues to attract talent from around the world and provide fertile ground for new ideas, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.
One of the highlights of the evening was the strong engagement from attendees. Throughout the sessions, participants contributed thoughtful questions and shared perspectives from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds, creating an open and dynamic dialogue around entrepreneurship in Sweden.
The networking session that followed provided an opportunity for participants to continue conversations, exchange experiences, and build new connections. The atmosphere reflected the diversity and ambition that characterise Helsingborg’s growing innovation ecosystem, with people from across the globe coming together to explore future collaborations and opportunities.
